Sri Veerabrahmendra Swamy is revered across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as the seer of the Kalagnanam. He was born into no privilege, worked with his hands, and taught that devotion is measured in what you do for the person in front of you rather than in what you profess. His followers have carried that plainness forward for centuries.

Annadhanam — the giving of food — is the form that teaching most naturally takes. It needs no ceremony, no eligibility test and no speech. It needs rice, fire, hands and the willingness to keep going next week as well.

The society

A small society, formally constituted

The Samithi was registered in 2020 at Nuzvid in Eluru district, Andhra Pradesh, so that the annadhanam could outlive the enthusiasm of any one person. Registration brought obligations we welcome: audited books, filed returns, and a bank trail behind every rupee.

In 2026 the Ministry of Home Affairs granted the Samithi registration under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, which allows devotees living outside India to contribute lawfully through a designated account.
