Ways to give

Give by UPI or by bank transfer. Which account you use depends on where you are giving from — the law requires the two to be kept separate.

Please tell us who you are first. The Samithi issues an 80G receipt for every gift, and a transfer that arrives with nothing but a reference number against it cannot be receipted at all. Your details also decide which account you must use: under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, money of foreign origin may be paid only into the designated FCRA account, never into the domestic one.

Step one

Your details

Once these are in, we will show you how to pay — by card, UPI or bank transfer.

Your receipt goes to this address, so please check it is correct.

This decides which account may lawfully receive your gift.

Required for the 80G receipt, and for the Form 10BD return the Samithi files with the Income Tax Department.

Corporate and CSR giving

The Samithi holds CSR registration number CSR00074203, so companies may route CSR funds to it. Write to us and we will send the certificates, the audited accounts and a utilisation plan.

What happens after you give

  • If you paid by card or UPI here, your receipt is emailed within seconds, because the payment is confirmed the moment it completes.
  • If you transferred from your bank, someone at the Samithi matches your reference number against the statement first. That usually takes two or three working days, and the receipt follows by email.
  • Your Form 10BE follows separately. Since assessment year 2022-23 the 80G deduction is claimed against Form 10BE, which we generate after filing Form 10BD with the Income Tax Department. Keep both that and the receipt.
  • If something looks wrong, do not pay again. Call +91 94915 72748 or write to info@brahmangariannadhanam.com quoting your reference, and we will find it.
